  TOUR FACTS:
  • The All For You Tour was Janet's fourth concert tour and was in support of her 2001 album All For You.
  • The show was directed by Janet Jackson and her longtime friend, dancer and choreographer Shawnette Heard.
  • Janet rented the GM Place in Vancouver for the entire month of June 2001 for rehearsals. It was the longest period of time anyone has ever booked the arena for.
  • The tour was choreographed by Shawnette Heard, Gil Duldulao Jr., Eddie Morales, Marty Kudelka, Roger Lee, and Tovaris Wilson. The assistant choreographer was Kelly Konno.
  • The tour was plagued with many problems and a number of dates were rescheduled due to a variety of reasons, such as illness, missing set pieces, and the September 11 terrorist attacks.
  • The first date of the tour was originally scheduled to be held on July 5, 2001 at the GM Place in Vancouver, where they had rehearsed for the entire month prior, however a problem with customs at the U.S.-Canada border prevented portions of the technical equipment from getting into Canada. As a result, the show was postponed until July 9 and the previously scheduled concert in Portland on July 7 became the first show of the tour.
  • Janet was scheduled to perform a concert in Tampa on September 11, 2001, however that night's show was postponed after the terrorist attacks in the United States that morning. The following two shows in Ft. Lauderdale were also rescheduled due to the attack and the tour resumed on September 16. Janet held a moment of silence at the concerts that were held after the attacks.
  • The entire European leg of tour dates were canceled with tour officials citing safety issues after the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks in the United States, which occurred during the middle of the tour. Refunds were given to fans who already bought tickets.
  • A portion of the proceeds from each ticket sold was donated to the Boys and Girls Club of America.
  • The February 16 concert in Honolulu was the last tour stop on the tour and aired on HBO the following night. Watched by more than five million viewers, the television program was Janet's second HBO concert special; the first being her Velvet Rope Tour. The program also featured never-before-seen shots of Janet in her dressing room while changing into her costumes during the show. One day prior to the concert, Janet held a dress rehearsal and invited many fans who were waiting outside of the stadium inside. The dress rehearsal was also filmed with parts being edited into the televised program. The broadcast was later released on VHS & DVD.
  • Missy Elliot made a surprise appearance at the televised February 16 concert in Honolulu and performed during "Son of a Gun (I Betcha Think This Song Is About You)."
  • During a dance breakdown in "Nasty," Janet sampled Jay-Z's "I Just Wanna Love You."
  • The opening act on the first leg of the tour in North America was 112. Pink was scheduled to be the opening act for all of the canceled European dates.
  • During all of the concerts in Japan, Janet altered her performance of "Would You Mind" by making the choreography less sexual and wearing a different costume for the purpose of not offending anyone in the conservative country.
  • The tour grossed an estimated $40.6 million in the United States, $55 million worldwide.
  • It is estimated that over 885,000 people attended the show.
