NOTES:
Janet Jackson is the self-titled debut album from Janet Jackson, released on September 21, 1982 by A&M Records. Janet did not have much interest in a music career at the time and contributed little to the album. Prior its release, she was best known for her work as a television actress. Later in her career, she admitted that she did not want to make this album and its follow-up, Dream Street.
