New album being recorded on Digidesign ICON system
Janet's new album is being recorded on the new Digidesign ICON integrated console system, according to a Digidesign press release.
Jeff Greenberg, CEO of The Village Recorders in Los Angeles, purchased an ICON system in January and said, "We've been booked solid with high-profile ICON projects since the install - including Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis' work on Janet Jackson's new album..."
The Village Recorders is the studio that Jam and Lewis have temporarily utilized since establishing Flyte Tyme West in Los Angeles. Much of the "Damita Jo" album was recorded in there as well. |
