Janet presents Heroes Award to Jermaine Dupri
 Janet presented Jermaine Dupri with one of several Heroes Awards given out last night at the Atlanta chapter of the Recording Academy's First Annual Heroes Award Gala.
"I look up to you and truly admire you," Janet said as she presented Dupri with the award, according to an article in today's Atlanta Journal-Constitution. |

Janet to present award in Atlanta
Janet will be in Atlanta on July 18 to present an award at the 1st Annual Atlanta Chapter Heroes Awards organized by the Atlanta Chapter of the Recording Academy. This year's recipients of the Heroes Awards are Ray Charles, Joel Katz, Jermaine Dupri and the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra.
Over the past few months Janet has been spotted several times with rapper and producer Jermaine Dupri, who also happens to be the president of the Atlanta Chapter of the Recording Academy. The two also attended Left Eye's funeral together in May.
Janet was presented with the Governors Award by the Recording Academy last month in Los Angeles.

Grammy award winning remixer Hex Hector has completed a mix of "Feel It Boy", according to the discography on his official website.
Hex Hector previously mixed a Janet track with his club mix of "Someone To Call My Lover", a remix which helped the song reach #1 on the Billboard Dance/Club Play Chart. |
