MTV Becoming filmed this afternoon in NYC
A Janet episode of MTV's look-a-like contest "Becoming: Wannabes" filmed this afternoon at the Times Square studio in New York City.
Three "wannabe" fans dressed up as Janet and were voted on by a panel of judges who consisted of the director of "Poetic Justice" John Singleton, the director of the "All For You" music video David Meyers, and Janet's long time friend, dancer, and choreographer Shawnette Heard.
In round one, each of the three contestants wore an outfit replicating that from a Janet video ("Doesn't Really Matter", "Son of a Gun", & "If") and then performed a snippet of that song. Round two required the three contestants to answer Janet trivia questions.
No airdate has yet been set for this episode of "Becoming: Wannabes". |
